The Best Sitcoms to Watch When You Are Bored

The best thing about sitcoms is that not only are the episodes really short but they are also packed with light-hearted comedy that would instantly uplift your mood if you were having a tough day.

However, to stream most sitcoms, you would need an internet connection that would be fast enough to stream your favorite shows with absolutely no lag at all. That is where we would suggest that you ring up the Spectrum Phone Number so that you could get one of the best internet services in the United States for yourself. Once you figure out your internet situation, here are some sitcoms that we think you should watch since they are great enough to have your attention:

The Office

Honestly, how could we talk about sitcoms and not mention The Office? It has always been among the best sitcoms yet and while the show ended back in 2013, people still love watching the show even today. The show is about a couple of colleagues who work at a paper company called Dunder Mifflin. The show depicts their everyday interaction with each other and how all of them keep each other going.

One of the best things about the show is that it has Steve Carell and John Krasinski in the show and Steve Carell is among the best comedians in the United States. The comedy that is featured in the show is pretty light, which makes watching the show quite a brilliant experience. The show has 9 seasons in total and you can watch it on Amazon Prime.

BoJack Horseman

BoJack Horseman wouldn’t really be a comedy show but yeah, it is so true to reality that it would surprise you. The show is about a Horse called BoJack who used to be the main lead of a show called Horsin’ Around in the 80s and the 90s but no one really watches the show anymore, which is why BoJack is going through a mid-life crisis.

However, those aren’t the only of BoJack’sproblems, he also has to deal with his addiction and the continuous cynicism that forces him to think that the world is a bitter place and everyone out there is against him. Everything in his life has been so bad that he cannot open up to anyone. At certain points in the show, it starts getting too relatable for almost everyone in the audience and that is among the many reasons why you should watch the show. If you want to watch the show, you can easily stream it on Netflix whenever you want.

The Good Place

Have you ever wondered about what happens after you die? The Good Place is a more comedic take on what happens after you do and the concept is actually a pretty interesting one. The show stars Kristen Bell who is accidentally sent to Heaven after she passes away. She believes there was some mix-up of sorts and that it was an error that led to her being in Heaven, however, she must keep up her good behavior so that she could continue staying in Heaven. An interesting point of the show is that Heaven is referred to as “The Good Place” in the show and Hell is termed “The Bad Place”. People are given a score that decides whether they get to go to The Good Place and if their score is bad enough, then they end up going to The Bad Place. The show has a very diverse cast and it tried to show people from as many ethnicities as possible. If you want to watch a show that has great comedy and is created by the creators of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, then you really need to watch The Good Place.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Since we’re talking about The Good Place, we might as well talk about Brooklyn Nine-Nine as well. The show comprises 8 seasons and as the show progresses, it just keeps getting better and better. It is set in the fictional 99th precinct of the New York Police Department. The captain of the precinct is Captain Holt, with Sergeant Terry Jeffords and the rest of the characters being detectives including Detectives Jake Peralta, Amy Santiago, Rosa Diaz, Charles Boyle, Hitchcock, and Scully. The show lays emphasis on how not all of them are just colleagues but also really close friends who always uplift each other.

In the show, we get to see Jake’s character development as he transitions from being an immature man-child to a responsible adult who has to make some difficult choices and sacrifices. It is most certainly the kind of show that you would fall in love with when you watch it.

Wrapping Up

These are some iconic sitcoms that we think you should watch since they could easily be considered among the best of all time.
