The social justice and Empowerment Department, or SJED, of the Rajasthan Government, has implemented “RajSSP” a scheme for the residents of the state called the Social Security Pension Scheme as contained in the Constitution of India. It is particularly Article 41 of the Constitution, which requires states to give public assistance to the residents of that state in cases of the poor, the elderly, people with disablements or impairments, and people with various sicknesses.

The Government of India introduced the National Social Assistance Program or NSAP, which has laid the foundation for a policy that spans the whole country to provide social assistance to the poor and the needy sections of the society.

RAJSSP ensures that weaker sections of society from different castes or genders are all provided funds by the state government. The main objective of the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme is to ensure social and financial security to the less privileged sections of the society.

RajSSP- Eligibility And Benefits

To be able to receive the payments from the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme, the applicant must meet specific requirements set by the Government.  

One of the requirements common to all pension schemes is that the beneficiery must be a registered citizen of Rajasthan. Pension Schemes Details

The Social Security Pension Scheme includes different types of plans that pensioners can apply. Both the Central Government and the State Government sponsor various schemes under the RajSSP.

Some of the programs listed under the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme are given below.

1. Chief Minister Old Age Samman Pension Scheme

The eligibility Conditions and Benefits of Chief Minister Old Age Samman Pension Scheme are provided below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Women who are over 55 years of age
• Men and women who are over 58 years of age
• Annual income should be below ₹ 48,000.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 750 per month to people under 75 years of age
•  1000 per month to people over 75 years of age.

2. Chief Minister EklnariSamman Pension Scheme

The eligibility criteria and the benefits of the CM Eklanari Samman Pension Scheme is given below:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Widows
• Women who are divorced or abandoned 
• Women who are at least 18 years of age
• Annual income must be below ₹48,000.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 500 per month to people at least 18 years of age but less than 55 years of age
• 750 per month to people at least 55 years of age but less than 60 years of age
• 1000 per month to people at least 60 years of age and less than 75 years of age
• 1500 per month to people at least 75 years of age.

3. Chief Minister Special Qualified Person’s Pension Scheme

The eligibility conditions and the benefits of this pension scheme are below:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• People with 40% or more disability
• Natural seeding must be less than 3 feet 6 inches
• Ejaculatory 
• The annual income of at least ₹60,000.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 750 per month to women below 55 years of age and men below 58 years of age
• 1000 per month to women at least 55 years and under 75 years of age
• 1000 per month to men at least 58 years and under 75 years of age
• 1250 to people at least 75 years of age
• 1500 to people of any age and who do not have leprosy.

4. Small and Marginal Farmers Older Pension Scheme

The eligibility criteria and the benefits of this scheme are given below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Women at least 55 years of age
• Men and women at least 58 years of age
• People who fall under the definition of Small and Marginal Farmers according to the circular put forth by the Food and Civil Supplies Department of the Rajasthan Government.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 750 per month to people under 75 years of age
• 1000 per month to people at least 75 years of age.

5. Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme

The eligibility criteria and the benefits of the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme are following. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Men and women who are at least 60 years of age and who belong to a BPL family
• The annual income must not exceed the yearly income of BPL Beneficiaries of the Central Government.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 750 per month people over 60 years of age but under 75 years of age
• 1000 per month to people at least 75 years of age.

6. Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme

The eligibility criteria and the benefits of the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme are below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• Widowed women who are at least 40 years of age and who belong to a BPL family
• The annual income must not exceed the yearly income of BPL Beneficiaries of the Central Government.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 500 per month to women at least 40 years of age but below 55 years of age
• 750 per month to women at least 55 years of age but below 60 years of age
• 1000 per month to women at least 60 years of age but below 75 years of age
• 1500 per month to women at least 75 years of age.

7. Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme

Given below are the requirement and the benefits the  Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

• People with at least 80% disability who are at least 18 years of age and who belong to a BPL family
• The annual income must not exceed the yearly income of BPL Beneficiaries of the Central Government.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS:

• 750 per month to women at least 18 years of age but under 55 years of age
• 750 per month to men at least 18 years of age but under 58 years of age
• 1000 per month to women at least 55 years of age and men at least 58 years of age, but under 75 years of age
• 1250 per month to people at least 75 years of age
• 1500 per month to people of any age and who do not have leprosy.

Pension Approval & Disbursement

The Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and the Block Development Officer (BDO) of urban and rural areas, respectively, sanction the pensions to the people qualified for various schemes listed under Rajssp. The Treasury officer initiates the pension payment order or the PPO, and send to the respective treasury office for necessary actions. The treasury sends the Payment through a channel that the pensioner chooses. The beneficiary can receive the pension either through cash, bank transfers, money orders or post office savings account.

How to Register for the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme

To avail of the pension scheme, pensioners who meet the requirements must register either online or offline.

Online Registration

To register online, the applicant can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the official Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme website and Click on the “Application Form” button seen on the home page. (Link is provided in the table below)
2. The application will appear on the screen.
3. Enter all the necessary information correctly.
4. Upload the required documents.
5. Click on the “Submit” button.
6. Check the status of the application by downloading the form.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED ONLINE

During the registration process, applicants should upload certain documents along with their application form. The essential documents required to submit are given below.

• Identity card
• Bhamashah ID
• Income proof
• Birth certificate
• Bank account information.

Offline Registration

To register offline, you can follow the steps below:

1. Visit the office of the Sub-Divisional Officer or the Block Development Officer.
2. Get the application form from the office.
3. Fill up the application form.
4. Send the form and all necessary documents for verification to the Tehsildar or the NaibTehsildar.
5. After verification of the documents, the office of the Tehsildar or NaibTehsildar will send the particulars of the eligible applicants to the Disposal Authority for final approval. 

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR OFFLINE REGISTRATION

The applicants who wish to apply offline for the pension schemes must send certain documents for verification to the Tehsildar or the NaibTehsildar. The details of the documents to be sent for verification are 

• Identification proof
• Proof of date of birth
• Bank account details
• Income Proof.

Documents Verification Process

The verification process of the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme or the Raj SSP are as follows:

1. Submission of application to the Sub-Divisional Office or the Block Development Office.
2. Verification of application by Tahsildar or NaibTahsildar.
3. Cross-checking of the application by SDO or BDO.
4. Forwarding the Sanction Order to the Disbursement Authority.
5. Treasury or Sub-Treasury Office receives the sanction order and initiates the payment to the beneficiary.

The pensioners can get the information about the status of their pensions or check their eligibility of pension and also file complaints on Rajasthan SSP website. How to Check Pension Status Online? 

To check the status of the online application of their pension, applicants must follow the following steps:

1. Visit the official website of the Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme
2. Click on the “Reports” tab on the home screen of the website.
3. Click on the “Pensioner Online Status” on the new page.
4. Fill the details on the form which appears on the screen. 
5. Enter the correct application number and given code and then click on the “Show Status” button.

The status of the application will appear on the screen. There is an option to view the status of the pension in Hindi or English.

Beneficiary Report

If pensioners want to check the beneficiary reports of the scheme, they can do so by following the steps below:

1. Go to the official Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme website on the internet browser by clicking on the RajSSP link provided in the box below.
2. Click on the “Reports” tab on the home screen of the website.
3. Click on the “Beneficiary Report” button on the new page.
4. A district-wise beneficiary report will appear on the screen.

The beneficiary report will contain information about the amount of money that each pension scheme provides the different districts in the state. The beneficiary report also includes the details of the total amount sanctioned to each District from the Central Government and the State Government. 

The report also provides information about the total amount granted to the districts under each pension scheme.

Pension Grievance Cell

Pensioners also have the liberty to file complaints or look up solutions to various complaints through the “Reports” portal of the RajSSP website. In order to do this, the steps below must be followed:

1. Go to the official Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme website on the internet browser by clicking on the official website given below.
2. Click on the “Reports” tab on the home screen of the website.
3. Click on the “Pensioner Complaint” button on the screen.
4. Click on “Query” or “Solution” to either file a complaint or check the solution.
5. If “Query” is clicked, fill-up the form given by providing the necessary details.
6. Choose “Sanction Related” or “Payment Related” based on the nature of your query.
7. Click on the “Save” button to submit the query.
8. If “Solution” is clicked, fill-up the form given by providing the necessary details.
9. Click on “Show” to view the solution to a query.

Pensioner Payment Register

1. Go to the official Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme website on the internet browser
2. Click on the “Reports” tab on the home screen of the website.
3. Click on the “Pensioner Payment Register” button on the screen.
4. Fill up the form that appears by providing accurate information.
5. Click on “Show Report” to view the payment register.

How to Check Pensioner Eligibility by Janaadhaar ?

To check the eligibility of the pensioner by Janaadhaar, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the official Rajasthan Social Security Pension Scheme website on the internet browser by clicking on the website link given in the table.
2. Click on the “Reports” tab on the home screen of the website.
3. Click on the “Check Pensioner Eligibility by Janaadhaar” button on the screen.
4. Fill up the form that appears on the screen by providing the correct details.
5. Click “Check” to check the eligibility of the pensioner.

Check Pensioner Eligibility by Criteria

To check pensioner eligibility by criteria, follow the steps below:

1. Visit the RajSSP Official website on the internet browser by clicking on the link given in the table below.

3. Click on the “Pensioner Eligibility by Criteria” button on the screen.
4. Fill up the form that appears on the screen by providing the correct details.
5. Click “Check” to check the eligibility of the pensioner.

The RajSSP website also has a Frequently Asked Questions tab where you can look up solutions to the most commonly asked questions about the website or the pension itself.
Some of of the common errors and their solutions are listed below. 

• An Anauthorised Page for Registration 

RajSSP has two separate pages, one for registration services and one for pensioner yearly verifications. You will have to ensure that you choose the correct page to perform the tasks.

• Device Capture not Working ?

To ensure that the device capture works, check that your device is registered for Rd services. Install the device drivers and start the Rd service, then restart your system.

• Inactive SSO ID 

Transfer your pension data to another Social Security Pension ID by opening the Migrate Kiosk Code page to update the code.

• Existence of Aadhar Number and Account Number

The user can enter his Aadhar card number and account number only one time. If the numbers are added to other pensioners, update the Aadhar and Account numbers, then add pensioner.

• Unregistered Pensioner Location

Contact the Treasury Officer.

• Incomplete Records

Ensure that all the required details are given for the pensioner’s details to appear in the complete records.

• Change to Widow Pensioner Scheme from Old Age Scheme

Change your marital status from the Bhamashah portal, then change the pension scheme on the RajSSP website from the Sanction Authority portal.

• Change details and disability type

You can change your name, father’s name, category, gender, age, disability type and other details from the Sanction Authority portal of Bhamashah.

• Change Bank Account Details

You can change bank account details from the Disbursement Authority only if there have been less than three successful payments. After three payments, account details can be changed only by the Treasury Officer.

• Pension stopped

Pensioners must remember to verify the pension schemes once every year from Emitra KIOSK or Sanction Authority to ensure that their pension does not stop.
